Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Email address when you join our community or newsletter
• Display name, which may be provided automatically when you sign in with Google or set manually in your account settings
• Any feedback or messages you send to us
• Children's first names and dates of birth, which you may provide to generate age-appropriate activity plans and track individual progress

Information Automatically Collected

• Basic analytics data (pages visited, general location by country) via Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individual users
• Device type and browser information for site optimization
• More detailed usage data via Google Analytics (GA4), which is only enabled with your explicit consent and respects your cookie preferences

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Send you updates about new activities, resources, and products
• Respond to your questions and provide support
• Improve our website and create better resources for families
• Send occasional newsletters with learning tips and activities

Child Data & Caregiver Controls

Learn With Love is a platform for parents and caregivers. As the account holder, you control all child data in your account. It is entered by you and is accessible only to you.

• You can view, edit, and delete any child's information at any time from your account settings
• Deleting your account permanently deletes all associated child data
• After account deletion, it may take up to 30 days for data to fully propagate out of backup systems

Children's Privacy

Learn With Love is designed for parents and caregivers, not children. Children do not create accounts or interact directly with our platform.

When caregivers provide information about their children, such as a first name or date of birth, that data is entered by the caregiver on behalf of their child, stored in the caregiver's account, and used only to personalize activity plans and track progress. We do not collect personal information directly from children, and we do not knowingly allow children to create accounts or submit data on their own.

We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly through our platform without caregiver consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@learnwithlove.co so we can remove it.

Data Storage and Security

• User account data, subscriber lists, and child profiles are stored in our database (Supabase)
• Email delivery is handled by our transactional email provider (Resend)
• We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest
• We never sell or rent your personal information to third parties
• Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel only

Third-Party Services

We use selected third-party services to help provide and improve Learn With Love. These include:

• Supabase: database storage and user authentication, including magic link sign-in
• Resend: transactional email delivery (welcome emails, newsletter)
• Google: OAuth sign-in ("Sign in with Google") and website analytics (Google Analytics 4, consent-gated)
• Vercel: website hosting, content delivery, and privacy-focused analytics (Vercel Analytics is cookieless and collects only anonymous, aggregated data)

All third-party services are carefully selected for their commitment to privacy and security. We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies necessary for the website to function properly. These include:

• Essential cookies to store your cookie consent preference
• Authentication cookies to keep you securely signed in to your account (when you create one)
• Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site (only with your consent)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we have about you
• Request correction of any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Delete your account and all associated data, including child profiles, through your account settings or by contacting us
